Since howard is leaving the FCC controlled air, do you
think he and Robin could be talked into explaining and discussing the PNAC over the air on a consistent basis, he did bash Bush enough during the election. He has a following and is credible to them, he was almost elected Gov. of NY a couple year back. Think it would fly or have any effect on the masses?
2. Howard will speak about politics occasionally but I doubt more than before
Additionally he was not "almost elected Gov" He never even ran. Some goofy NY Post polls had him winning over a year before the actual election. When he learned he would have to do a financial disclosure he instead backed Pataki (R)
4. Howard is not a political commentator - why in hell would he do that!
Howard has issues with the Bush Admin and FCC and will trashtalk either of them when it fits his needs. But why in God's name would he even bother discussing PNAC? It serves him no purpose and would only alienate his listeners who aren't there to listen to his political talk.
I'm a Stern fan and I loved it when he bashed Bush, but the guy is a big fan of Pataki and Guiliani. If Guiliani ran for President, Stern would be supporting him 110%. I think even Stern has said enough time that he doesn't want to be some spokesperson for the democratic party
5. Howard Stern is first and foremost, an entertainer
and he makes his money by having a show that people will listen to. I think that politics is just an adjunct to that function insofar as it directly relates to his ability to perform on the air. His personal political beliefs are all over the place, as far as I could tell from listening to him.
