The "Poopie" finger.
Some months ago, I heard Randi Rhodes, from Air America, talking about Bush. She said you know how Midas had the Golden Touch, where everything he touched turned to gold? George W Bush must have the "Poopie" finger.

3. She makes a good point...
Everything he has ever done or been around has been a total failure or criminally questionable...being the good Christian he is...

Why is it that so many "Christians" accept Bush as a hero when they have to know he has been lying to everyone?

5. In their version of Christianity words are all that matter!
Deeds don't count. All one has to do is loudly proclaim their religiousness and presto-they're a true believer. Christ didn't really mean that stuff about the poor, the weak, the least among us. Thank goodness we have the Dominionists to tell us what the good book really means!

6. Yes - all you need to do is
run around saying you're a Christian, and it doesn't matter what you actually DO. F'ing hypocrites. :argh:

7. That's true deeds don't count
I talked to one of those guys who came to the door trying to "save" me and he said that I was supposed to accept Jesus. I told him that I didn't know if there was a God, but if there was, I would go to heaven because I was a good person. He told me that I wouldn't get in unless I accepted Jesus, no matter how good I was. If that's true, I'd rather be stuck in hell with Ghandi, then up in heaven with Helms.

8. In defense of Christianity--
The thinking is that absolutely no one is good enough to earn their way into heaven. Which is why a person needs to accept Jesus as their Savior. HOWEVER, once a person has done that, they are supposed to want to do good works and turn away from evil.

I see no evidence of that in Bush "Christianity".
