"THE SADDAM TRIAL" coming to an Election near you (2006)

It is my strong belief that the GOP are going to use the televised Trial of Saddam Hussein as a national distraction and as an implied subliminal justification for the Iraq Invasion as we approach the 2006 elections.

The plan is in place, the wheels are in motion and have started on a slow drive toward a public trial, set in Iraq (after the fabricated constitution success that we will see towards the end of this summer)which will build to a speeding crecendo, on cue, once the Bush Admin yells "action"!

With plenty of 24/7 cable television and corporate press coverage, this trial will be used in the best way possible to favor the Republican party.

Themes? Brutal Dictator, Freedom on the March, mass graves, replaying Saddam's atrocities committed, Democracy wins, etc....

This trial may end up as sensational as the Goose that layed the golden media egg; the OJ Trial!

So if you hate how the corporate media has manipulated and massaged the election issues in the last several elections....
Please fasten your seatbelt, cause you ain't seen nothin' yet!

What say you? Does this sound plausible, doable and will the American people fall under the "Saddam brought to justice" spell? Will it affect our elections....and if so, how, or why or why not?

If Saddam decides he's up shit's creek, he might get a case of loose lips. That could be really, really bad for Bush.

He didn't end up having his pic in his underwear appear in all of the newspapers of the world for nothin'.

The people of Iraq need the Saddam trial to get together and agree that it was a horrid time. We cannot take that away from them. They will also want the truth about U.S. policy at the time. And I'm sure Saddam will extrapolate.

I'm not worried about the Saddam trial at all. For everyone testifying..there will be background research done on "where the chemical weapons came from" etc.

That this trial won't be used to a political end. I'm always ready to be shocked with how bold and blatant this administration is in relation to just about anything.

Remember this thread when the previews start...and the premiere blast onto our American TV screens.

I don't underestimate this Admin in doing the bold, and the media lapdogs will follow for the sake of profits. It will happen, and I will bookmark this thread to pull out when the "show" begins!

But when I see something like the Popapolooza circus from a couple of months ago, and the Runaway Bride, and the Aruba excitement....I'm sorry, but I don't think they care that we are "on" to them. Didn't stop them when 55 million marched against what they were about to do.....and I don't think it would be a deterrent now. The whole "thing" about them is that they just don't care to "get" anything.

The trial will not be televised, but the speculations reporting will make us "feel" that we are there, except that we'll get the truth that they want us to have....and not necessarily; the truth, and nothing but!

I predicted that the highlight of the Neocon Convention would be having Sadaam chained to a post at Ground Zero. GW would parachute out of a plane decked out in his flight suit and an M-60 machine gun tucked under his arm. As he floated in with his parachute (designed in the Stars and Stripes, of course) he would blow Hussein to smithereens before he touched down.

But had it not for the "Dressed up in his flight suit prancing on an deck of a carrier" criticism from the Dems throughout the '04 campaign...certainly they might have tried it.

Better not to put nothin' past them.
