What happens when the number of troops killed in Iraq ...
and Afghanistan exceed the number of people killed on September 11th and OBL is still at large?

2. Gawd, I can only hope it won't reach that high.
But Too-Stupid-To-Chew-Pretzels won't notice or care.

3. The number of innocents killed has already exceeded the...
...number of 9/11 victims, maybe tenfold. But I see the point of your question. OBL will not be caught because he's the fear carrot that this corrupt administration dangles before the nation. That said, when will Americans figure out that the blood of their sons and daughters has been utterly squandered?

4. I've wondered about that as well, but haven't figured OBL
into the question. Just simply, how will the american people accept the number of deaths once it exceeds the September 11th. total? I think it might wake up a few of those who have been marinating in the kool-aid. Or not. I hope and pray it doesn't reach that point.

5. I've been asking that question since we "liberated" Iraq
...and the closer we get to that "magic number" others will start asking it as well. The Chimp had better hope for a busy news week when that last "over the top" death occurs, with a good celebrity trial, some movie star hijinks, and maybe some sweet young thing (either a child or young lady) going missing, getting kidnapped, or coming to a brutal end at the hands of a significant other....else that occasion will get a boatload of coverage. It's just too easy a news story, and even the lamestream media will just HAVE to take a chomp out of it, unless there is a load of fluff out there to cover it over.

6. The number of innocent civilians we murdered in Iraq and Afghanistan
far exceeds the victims of 9/11. I don't hear much an outcry about that from a society that still hasn't been able to put racism behind.

7. The media will get all somber and reflect that freedom isn't free

and will continue to urge us to bow to the lord of the flies as the number climbs higher.

I'm waiting to see what happens when they get off a really big attack and kill a few dozen at once. Or a hundred or more at once. Remember the baracks in Lebanon?

Worse, somewhere in Iraq or the Middle East now is the next UBL, building up hatred and deciding what his target will be. Schools? Disney World on a summer day? 9-11 didn't hurt us enough, so they are planning bigger and better things.

It's all when, not if. Unless we elect a diplomat how has some idea of what to do.
