Dean raising more money then McAullife!!!
I just read this at Crooksandliars.com This is great!!!

Records show (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050611/ap_on_re_us/democrats_dean_3)
the DNC took in $13.8 million over the first three months of 2005, compared with $8.4 million during the same period in 2003, the last year without a federal election. Terry McAuliffe was party chairman then.

For all the naysayers like Robert Novak who says Dean is failing at raising money. The numbers show almost double what Terry did. I think he's being successful on that front so far Mr. Crypt Keeper.

3. What did the Republicans raise in 2003?
And how far behind them are we now? They've double in the bank what we do right now, last I heard. It's today that matters, not 2003.

at the McAullife signing off thing they had for him someone (I forgot who) told that we raised more money this last year then the republicans for the first time. We had actual people and they mostly had contributions from corporations. I think it's so great and really telling what people want. :D Not only in our own party with Dean but with the country if people are donating to the party.

6. I don't see how your comment furthers the corporate script
that Dean is making the Democratic party more irrelevant. Therefore, you did not actually even make your comment, so there is no reason to respond to it. :sarcasm:

7. You know, back in 2003, you could've said the name "Terry McAuliffe"
to me, and I would've shrugged my shoulders for lack of recognition. Now, I, who normally am bad at remembering politicians names and don't keep up with them as much as I should, know Dean, and probably many others who normally wouldn't know most politicians know of Dean, as well.

8. I'm afraid I haven't helped much.
I told a DNC caller recently that until there's election reform, the Democrats are just spinning their wheels in the sand by collecting contributions. Until the Democrats press for election reform, I told him, I'm not throwing away any more money.

I'm tempted to give on Dr. Dean's behalf, though.

11. I feel the same way at times, really torn. But, what about an escrow
account? What would happen if we put money into an account and let it sit and grow until the DNC started salivating?

21. Contribute to the DNC
This isn't the first time I've posted this message. Prior to Dean, I never gave a dime to the DNC (spent it all locally); since Dean became chairman, I've given three times.

And how about this? If you can you part with as little as $12 a month, you can do an automatic payment via this link:

https://www.democrats.org/support/partners.html?dsc=NETA249

But if you do so, by all means follow up with an e-mail stating that you're contributing AND that it's because of Howard Dean's leadership. In politics, nothing sends a message more clearly than a big wad of cash.

He's now kicking Terry McAuliffe's ass when it comes to raising money! Shouldn't come as a surprise.

23. Unfortunately Mehlman is kicking Dean's ass
Pointing out that Dean is supposedly doing better than McAuliffe while conveniently ignoring the fact that the GOP is doing better than both of them combined is really kind of pathetic. We need a new chairman. Fast.

25. Mehlman's taking corporate money.
Now of course your heroes in the DLC have no problem being corporate whores, but real Democrats don't need that shit.

It's an off year. Contributions will pick up before the midterm elections. If the party announced intentions to fight for something, like oh..say elimination of electro-fraud "voting", donations might pick up even sooner.

Dean raised about 60% more money than McUseless in roughly half the time. I'd say he's doing damn good.

And look at how much money he's pulled in just this week, because FUCKING DLC MORONS have attacked him

LOL! Please. We don't need a new chairman. And how is Mhelman doing any better then Dean? If he is it's from big corporations. I haven't heard if the republican party is getting money lately from what their person is doing. *snicker*

26. And Dean is doing work too
He's always been out there. I've been following him a lot since the DNC chair race ordeal and I remember hoping and praying Dean would get the job and of course he did. ;) Since then I've become a big Dean fan and all that. What I like about Dean is he's out all the time. Not just election year. I love what he says and he's not afraid to say it.
