A question on the Blair&Chimp Show yesterday.
Did any reporter ask about the DSM?

2. You could hear the tap shoes all the way down here.
Non-substantive, non-denial denials.

6. Tap dance is right
Shrub: "Well, I'm just gonna be folksy and make a stupid, feeble attempt at humor here, so's to distract everyone from this huge political liability. Wait, did I say that out loud?"

Note, he admits he didn't read the thing. Just a 'characterization' of it. 'Characterization'= his largest word ever.

4. When I watched it I got the feeling that the reporters had drawn straws to
see who would have to ask the question....(I'm kidding, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true.)....The guy who asked the question did so in such a lackadaisical way and accepted the answer as if it was gospel....Pretty pathetic!

7. I think you're missing it.
Well rehearsed answers, they knew it was coming, they allowed the question, or they planted the question.

5. As someone in another thread put it: "We did not have sex with that woman"

Hah!

Seriously, though, their every word was a demonstrably bald-faced lie to a direct question. Plus, they did not challenge the authenticity of the memo itself. Their answer could end up damning them both.

Their main point (that the memo was written before they went to the U.N.) was not only was irrelevant, but in fact the memo tells us WHY they went to the U.N., and the reason directly contradicts their answer: in the hopes that Saddam would REFUSE to let inspectors in so that they WOULD have a pretext for war (which, despite their delusions, he didn't, and they didn't).
