2. I was hoping someone else was listening to this drivel!
Waaaaaaa he broke the law Waaaaaaaaaaaa they are all bad men Waaaaaaaaaaaa Nixon was most popular President Waaaaaaaaaaaa

Nixon was a CROOK in the White House Pat. He was a CROOK Pat. Felt told the truth about a President that was a CROOK. He did the right thing Pat. He exposed a CROOK in the White House.

So, Pat, STFU! Leave YOUR sour grapes at the door and look at it without your personal wounds of the end of your Nixon gravy train.

NIXON WAS A CROOK!!!

3. I got lost in the circular logic a few minutes ago.
Sure hope there will be a transcript to read. It should be almost as much fun as reading the wisdom and wit of *.

4. John Deans testimony
Just now on NPR, a replay of John Dean testimony where he confesses to the Watergate panel that he was part of the continueing coverup and pay off to the burglars.
People like Buchanan should not be treated as just wackos, they need to be exposed as the serial liars they really are.

5. OH MY GOD
"There's No doubt, the President, he made mistakes. After the Watergate break in, which was a criminal act, they came running into the White House - Help us Help us - and people made decisions. Nixon had knowledge of it the first couple of days and instead of saying everybody's got to be fired, get rid of them, these are friends, John Mitchell especially, Nixon compromised himself by decisions he made which were reversed within a week, and then he should have told the American people the truth. So in a sense, Nixon brought about his own downfall. However, we know that and we've known that for 35 years and the Nixon people, we don't deny what was done at Watergate was wrong or that Nixon made mistakes. What is new now is that this hero you're talking about, Mr. Felt, you say he did it for the good of the country, however it is the good of the country, leaking it, look is it, are your upholding the law by breaking the law? If you're at number two, and probably acting number one at the FBI, and you're taking the fruits of an investigation, which is supposed to go to the U.S. attorney, and you're turning them over possibly in a criminal act, to a newspaper which hates Nixon, to bring Richard Nixon down during a campaign, that is something also, the American people ought to know."

In other words, Nixon did it and they should never have talked about it. It was a mistake on Nixon's part. He didn't have anything to do with the act, just the after cover up. And how dare a newspaper report the truth about what happened. No sir, they should have left it in the hands of Nixon's friends to deal with.

Put the crack pipe down Pat. We aren't buying it. You can't spin it to make Felt look like the bad guy here, or worse, make him the chief bad guy here, because he could do what Nixon couldn't. He could admit that our government was crooked. If we apply the same standards to Nixon as you seem to do with any Dem President (cough Clinton cough), then you were just as guilty because you did nothing about Nixon's bad decisions either.

Pat, STFU! And get these accessories after the fact off my TV!
