I just email to Ed Schultz...
Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 02:24 PM by Rainscents
And I asked him, do you donate to DNC on weekly base? I told him, I don't make that much money like you, however, I donate what I can all the time.

1. What's his email address?
I'm listening to him now, and he's spreading misinformation.

10. I don't think he's doing so deliberately.
I sent him an email with some links and asked him to check out the background of the clown who wrote the Businessweek article.

What Ed should be doing (as long as we're all talking about what people should be doing) is sending people to the DNC fund drive link.

8. Yes, he does do that... but at times, I think he says thing it's not
totally true. I think when Dean speak later on, he is going to say the truth about the donation.

9. He is building up the "confilct" - using talk-radio showmanship.

After all, he is giving Dean a platform to speak and make his case- Ed is on our side.

11. Ed Scultz BASHED Howard Dean a few weeks ago, used foul
language in reference to Governor/Dr Dean.

I lost much of the guarded 'respect' I had for Schultz at that point.

What is his agenda in going after Howard Dean? It was totally disrespectful and an attack against our own side, something Ed whined and ranted about endlessly when MoveOn went after Steny Hoyer (sp).

I tried listening to the show today, looking forward to hearing Howard Dean... instead, Schultz spent the first few minutes pounding on Dean and the next looong segment pimping a golf club.

Can anyone summarize what Dean said? I turned Schultz off during the golf club promotion. Kept checking back to see if Dean was on, but no - the golf thing went on forever.

17. Dean basically told him the truth
"How come you've been lying low and haven't been out there?"

"I've been in 20 states recently."

"How come you're doing such a bad job of fund raising?"

"We're in better shape than were were at this point two years ago."

And the crux of the matter, imho. "I have the #1 progressive radio show. How come I can't even get you on a hard line but have to put up with a cell phone?" (Someone e-mail Franken and Randi and tell them Big Ed is bigger than they are.)

Dean's come back, "You've been honest, so I'll be blunt. It sounds as if you're mad because I haven't been on YOUR show. I've been on African American radio. I've been on Latino radio." Then, he offered to come into the studio when he gets to Fargo.

Dean 35, Schultz 3

I wish my local station would put Springer on noon to 3 and give me Morning Sedition back from 6 to 9.

18. Like I'd said in earlier statement... Ed open up his big fat mouth before
getting the fact check... He really had truned me off this time when he was trashing Howard Dean. I am going to listen to Randi live (Sirius) from now on. I usually listen to Randi on delay on my station.

12. Ed Schultz is kind of a schmuck

While I like some of his politics, he is also a seriously mixed bag. I believe he considers himself "pro-life" as opposed to pro-choice. Also I can't stand his macho-man-fishing-hunting-good-old-midwestern-boy schtick.
Here in D.C. we have a new progressive station (am1260) which gives some Air America d.j's & some others. He's one of the others, instead of Randi Rhodes live. (They delay her after him).

14. I like Randi, because, she is deeply caring and speak her heart and
she don't go around bashing unless, Dems really needs it.

19. I'm with ya.
I listen to Al and then switch the channel when Ed comes on. However, I will acknowledge he is a valuable tool to reach out to rural/blue collar "regular guy" kinds of listeners who would otherwise dismiss anything a Democrat had to say. But...definitely not my cup of tea.

I like my radio coastal, urban, and snarky.
