Statement by RNC Press Secretary Tracey Schmitt on Howard Dean's Comments
Statement by RNC Press Secretary Tracey Schmitt on Howard Dean's Comments Today

6/2/2005 12:35:00 PM

To: National Desk

Contact: Republican National Committee Press Office, 202-863-8614

WASHINGTON, June 2 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Republican National Committee Press Secretary Tracey Schmitt issued the following statement regarding Howard Dean's comments today at the "Campaign for America's Future" conference:

"Howard Dean's diatribe today illustrates that the Democrat Party not only lacks leadership but is overflowing with anger. His comment that a lot of Republicans have never made an honest living in their lives makes it clear that Dean's priority is to generate mudslinging headlines rather than engage in substantive debate. The record number of hard working Americans who voted for President Bush prefer leaders who address their concerns as opposed to attack their work ethic."

dumbass! God they're assclowns. If all they've got to talk about is how we're angry and we don't have leadership, they haven't got much.

2. And furthermore,
the RNC wouldn't know "substantive debate" if it reared up and bit 'em in their respective asses!

4. "ANGER" is the talking point.
He sounded pretty optimistic to me!

P.S. The bat's up! Batter up at DNC.org!

There's nothing they can do to stop it.

8. On purpose. How trivial huh? Then again, Repubs are not masters of
the English language, as we all know - so it might be accidental.

I mean, look at who their leader is - President Dumbass Extraordinaire.

6. I listen and read these repub comments and my mind just goes nuts.
The repubs wait 15 years to impeach a Democrat (Clinton) because Nixon got caught committing a crime and the Dems are overflowing with anger????

They accuse Dean of generating mudlsing headlines??? Engage in substantive debate?? I didn't know those words were in the repub disctionary.

And where have the repubs addressed the concerns of the hard working Americans? They're shipping jobs overseas as fast as they can. And I could go on for hours.

What is with these people? Are they like the Borg? No independent thought just scream the party line over and over? I don't understand these people and the people that support them. They live in a fantasy world - totally. I like fantasy worlds myself, but I don't confuse them with reality.

get all puffy and defensive like that.

Tee hee.

Yup, I'm an "angry" Dem, damn straight.
Except for when I am laughing at the Republicans - like now. :D

11. Everyone should be "overflowing with anger"
if you aren't, you haven't been paying attention.

Why do I think that GOP charges of being "angry" just aren't going to work this time around?
