I hope one day that the US will have "free and fair elections."
While Bush administration is chiding Russia, Egypt, but keeping quiet about Pakistan, India (where local officials are appointed and not elected) and almost totally ignoring Uzbekistan, I am hoping that the nations of the world will begin to fight for our freedoms here in America where 2 million people are in jail (and a fair number there because of planted evidence by police and trumped up charges) and for "Three strike" offenses which have people with parking tickets serving more time than child molesters.

1. Karma with a little muscle?
I think the pendulum has a bit further to swing but we have to keep the resistance alive until the loathing grows to the breaking point. There may someday be freedom, for our grandchildren if not for ourselves.

2. Sorry, I failed
to make the connection. What does 2 million people in jail, and/or the 3 strikes laws, have to do with "free and fair" elections? Take baby steps for me, please.

3. We have to EXPOSE the problem first!
Nail the Bushies for stealing the elections, and then maybe someone will listen, and the actual election system will be changed for good!!!!

4. Yes, I u nderstand
that. What I don't understand is what do 2 million US jailbirds and the 3 strikes laws have to do with it. The connection doesn't pass the laugh test.
