Colorado Senate Bills 198 and 206 (VVPB) Need Gov. Owens' Signature

I heard on radio that Governor Owens isn't for these bills because of their related cost - yeah right. Please contact his office and "urge" him to sign them to get voter verified paper records in Colorado. These records would be auditable by the elector before we cast our votes and can be used for manual audits and recounts.

The Colorado Voting group has a blurb at their site that he wants to wait for an early June date to address the bills. No one knows what's up with that. I sure hope people barrage his office with emails or calls. If it passes, we'll be joining Montana in having verified paper records.
