Frist is LOSING it. "It looks like a filibuster. QUACKS like a filibuster"
Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., who was hoping to end nearly three months of delays and investigation and finally deliver Bolton's nomination for the president, said the matter soured the air of cooperation the two parties' centrists forged just days ago after months of wrangling over judges.

"John Bolton, the very first issue we turned to, we got what looks to me like a filibuster," Frist said. "It certainly sounds like a filibuster ... it quacks like a filibuster."

After the vote, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said the vote against ending debate did not reflect on the nominee per se.

"We're not here to filibuster Bolton, we're here to get information on Bolton," Reid said.

2. As the week comes to an end, THE CAT BUTCHER's week was weak.
Dobson wanted him to kill the filibuster, Cheney & Rove wanted Bolton shoved through, and here it is coming on Friday and both schemes lie in ruins on the floor of the Senate.

Bill Frist has not done his masters' bidding.

4. I though Frist voted against cloture!
Did I hear wrong? This is only a delay to get all the facts out there. I think anyone not losing their marbles can see that. There is no way we are going to filibuster this after that whole filibuster brew-ha-ha. IF we're still not voting on this in a month, then you can start bitching about a filibuster.
