And it begins with the Bush administration, who are not "conservative" in any real definition of the word--civil and worker rights, fiscal responsibility, foreign policy, the environment.

Republicans today are corrupt crony capitalists and too often aided by enough Democrats to push their agenda forward--an agenda that is not in the best interests of the American people and the rest of the world.

These nominees are not "out of the mainstream" as today's Republicans see it. Owen's ideology is a "twofer" for them--her ideological stances on abortion and her unquestioning support for whatever corporate America desires.
