Do you think there will be a Fascist party?
They won't call it that, of course. But I'm wondering if there will be a split in the Reps that divides the theocrats from the old-school conservative Republicans...

6. "They're here!!"
Any republican that walks in lock step with this administration are fascists. I still believe that most 'regular' republicans are clueless about what is really going on - they are just along for the ride, while that doesn't excuse them I don't think they are any where as evil as the bush administration.

2. There's a Constitution Party that's pretty fascist
It is the far right splinter party so maybe some of the pukes that aren't in it for the money will migrate there.

It's called the Republican-Democrat party.

They're already corporo-fascist and turning more theocratic by the minute.

as far as I am concerned GOP = NAZI 100%!

Lets see, Government in lock step with giant corporations in lock step with media in lock step with religious organizations. We are in NAZIville bud. Face it, if you are not them, YOU ARE their enemy.
IMO that is.

8. As others have said. The GOP are classical Mussolini Fascists.
Edited on Tue May-24-05 08:11 AM by benburch
There is literally no difference in their policies or methods. The only difference is that they can no longer be totally open about that fact after the ass kicking Roosevelt handed them in WW-II.

10. Most of the "elected" Republicans may be fascist
but I don't think thats true of much of the population who calls themselves Republican. I'm sure a lot of them are still trying to figure out what the hell happened to their party and where to go from here.

EXACTLY what Moon intended, paid for, and trained it to become - it is the

THEOFASCIST PARTY.

Theocratic fascism. I don't think it is fair to call them "Christofascists" because, in the same way they are not "Republicans" anymore, they are NOT Christian.

Jesus never did anything to deserve what they do in His name. imho.

We have become the "Theofascist States of America"

TSA- TSA- TSA- TSA

and Moon had as much to do with making it happen as ANYONE.

I mean, it is not like we haven't been told...

http://www.consortiumnews.com/archive/moon3.html

By the mid-1980s, Moon’s Unification Church had carved out a niche as an acceptable part of the American right. In one speech to his followers, Moon boasted that “without knowing it, even President Reagan is being guided by Father (Moon).”Yet, Moon also made clear that his longer-range goal was the destruction of the U.S. Constitution and America’s democratic form of government. "History will make the position of Reverend Moon clear, and his enemies, the American population and government will bow down to him.” Moon said, speaking of himself in the third person. “That is Father’s tactic, the natural subjugation of the American government and population.”
