Lots Of Mad repugs On Washington Journal This Morning
Edited on Tue May-24-05 06:54 AM by Dinger
I haven't heard one say they won. Lots of calls saying they're leaving the repug party, or McCain has lost their vote, or Cat-Killer has lost their vote, or they're tired of the repugs caving, there was even one (repug) a moment ago who said that the repugs will be in the minority soon and that he thought the Dems will treat the repugs the same as they (repugs) have treated Dems, lots of calls by repugs liking McCain and his role here, . . .

2. Republicans are crazy. All this anger because the Republicans
cannot destroy a 217 year old tradition in the Senate. Where is the anger for our boys coming home, either dead or maimed to a Republican controlled government that offers no help for them or their families?

14. Right
So far we don't have the United Fascists of America party. Maybe they can form one.

In reality, maybe those people just won't go to the polls next time. :applause:

4. Complaining about winning
insures the opposition is still forced in a position to "compromise" on more and more and more.

6. It was must see t.v.
I like it when they eat their own instead of us.

There will now be a desperate play to spin this as positive by Rove adn the gang - through gritted teeth though.

My coffee tastes extra-special-good this morning.

10. They want...
to be able to suspend the Constitution, round you up and imprison and kill you for opposing the Theocracy. THAT'S what those people calling in to Washington Journal want.

The nuclear option was a huge step towards that goal, and they're really, really angry to have lost it.

9. Y'see..
I feel even more vindicated for saying that this'll help in 2006. It may disappoint us, but we're used to it. For them, this is the ground opening-up beneath their feet.

11. one said we are a 'republic' and he is sick and tired of the
'communist lie that we are a democracy'

wtheck?

Wonder what he thinks of bushco efforts to (allegedly) 'spread democracy across the world'. So is bush now a communist tool to these folks?

15. Official Beginning Of The "Lame Duck Session"
Could it be (I'm speculating here) that what happened yesterday was a repuglicant primary between cat-killer and McCain?
