2. I just heard Pryor saying how educational it was for him to listen to Byrd
Edited on Mon May-23-05 08:42 PM by Clarkie1
He said Byrd spoke alot about the constitution and senate history at the meetings and he learned a lot from that.

6. I'd love to be able to spend an evening with Byrd--heck,
even an hour. He loves American history and knows so much about it, and he tells his stories in such a colorful way. He'd be a fantastic teacher.

9. It all depends upon the gop senators keeping their word when ...
Bonehead nominates Fat Tony as CJ. Every single one of them will have to vote against the nuclear option or, I suppose, to get technical, vote to overturn Cheney's point-of-order ruling.

Looking at that crew, I think some may well be less than solid when the pressure comes. It will make this stuff look like a walk in the park.

The rest of the Democrats are repub-lites :puke:
that really don't mind seeing fanatic Corportist judges on the bench. After all, they work for the same BIG Corporations.

The institution was created to serve, protect and defend the ruling class and preserve, protect and defend capitalism.

It's functioning as designed...
