Tweety on MSNBC filibuster one hour special on now
Edited on Mon May-23-05 08:06 PM by spooky3
Currently he's talking to Lindsey Graham, who said he changed his vote from pro-nucular :-) to against. He also predicted that some Repugs will not support some of the judges. He says the Senate has looked bad in the eyes of the people so he doesn't think we'll see the nucular option later.

6. Grahm said the senate and * needed a do-over or start over.
Matthews brought up the polls being very against the nuclear option. Graham and the behavior of politicians said this was helping nobody and this hurt everybody who touched it.

Lot's of wanting to spread the peanut butter over the Dems...and the republicans started it!

12. During the Clinton years I thought that Graham was one of
the extremists. Since then, I've begun to respect him as a real, thinking moderate. He was very fired up about Abu Graib, for instance, and I'll never forget that. So either he was never the extremist I thought he was in the first place or he has matured a lot.

18. Who knows?
While I'm not pleased that Owen will be voted in, the moderates got pissed and stood up for the Senate, the separation of powers, and our democracy. They stood up to the extremists.

The 14 urged * to consult with people from both parties before making more nominations.

Predicts we'll be back in the same position if * comes back with a right winger.

14. Right... and how long will that take?
Bush will choose the farthest right SOB he can find just to fuck things up again. It's his nature. If it goes more than 2 weeks I'll be surprised.
