I want to see how these Moderate Repubs vote on them now.

I suggest we keep calling Senators. There is still a vote pending. These judges have NOT been voted in, yet. Get back on those phones!

1. Yep....
tomorrow. By tomorrow night they'll all be Federal Judges. And there's not a GD thing the Dems can do about it.

2. What makes you so sure?
What if the Repubs from the gang of 12 don't vote them in now?

What if they do not have the support that the RW keeps saying they do?

I'll deal with what happens tomorrow when it comes. For now, I feel victorious.

9. Frist said before the "deal" that Owens vote would be in the morning
and like you said, she will then be a Federal Judge.

None of the so-called moderate rethugs are going to vote against the WH...NONE. We should send tubes of K-Y Jelly to our Dem "deal"-makers, because they are getting screwed in the arse for all of us.

3. Brown and Owens are re-nominations....
meaning they didn't get the votes the first
time, right?

I would hope that sane Senators would not
vote for them this time.

Remember, Arnold S gets to name Janice Rogers Brown's
successor on the CA Supreme Court if she is voted in.

4. They did not make it past a filibuster last time
but they never have had, pardon the phrase, "an up or down vote".

5. That's right....
well, we can hope that some of those moderate
Republicans see them as extreme, even to them
and not the best for the Republic to put forward.

8. They won't
"Party Unity" means more the them than a couple of token fascist judges.

Actually, the biggest beef against these judges is that they're beholden to coporate interests.

DUH...

The whole freakin' senate is beholden to corporate interests... That's why they're called the Millionaire's Club.

6. Make them put their money where their mouths are . . .
and prove they can be trusted not to walk in lockstep with the Administration on every single nominee, regardless how bad.

Let's see if they vote no on any of these judges.

10. IMO the deals are already made
The Moderate Rethugs will not vote for the two whackos. I dont know if thats enough to put them down but it was enough to stop the insanity.

Bushs numbers have become a disaster. McCain and the others dont fear him anymore and will take the centrist vote over the religious rights theyll lose over this.
