I think we should spin this as a win for us, LOUD AND PROUD!
Because that will REALLY piss them off. Even if we don't think it's the best deal, as long as we are cheering and saying it's a good deal, the lemmings on the other side will turn beet red.

It's already been proven that they're irked and they think that they lost. So, if we spin it as a win, it will only make them madder.

1. This would be possible if we got rid of ONE of the big three.
We didn't.

2. It's all about the spin.
Whoever sounds happy will be perceived to have won.

3. Democrats stopped the complete and absolute takover of our government...
by the radical right wing extremists.

How about that! :applause:

7. Agreed!
That's the point of this whole "deal." Frist didn't have the votes; the GOP leadership saved a defeat on the Senate floor and denied Cheney the opportunity to seize absolute power.

4. Agreed. And with a little luck the right wing may alienate a few million
decent Americans with their typical hate filled, foaming at the mouth, reaction to the deal.

6. Ah yes. That's the downside of being a conservative. The lust for power
also causes a hate filled foaming at the mouth reaction when they lose.

That's what's wrong with this country - spin = Bull Shit. Tomorrow, next week, or next month when the nazis have their way with us on more appointments, what kind of spin will lube you up to make it feel good?

9. Like it or not, politics is 90% spin, 10% actual content.
Do you realize that the majority of this country listens to nothing except for the 10 second sound bites, and really don't understand anything that's going on in our government.

That being said, whoever gets the best sounding 10 second sound bite, ends up looking better with the people, and tarnishing your opponent's image just a little bit more.
