Which Guy Would You Ruther Drive Cross Country With?
Sorry if this has been asked, but it has been
said to be one irrational subconscious key to
who will win. I'm a Dean man, but I'd pick him
third for such a ride, after Dennis and Al.

1. John Edwards
because of his personal history. But I will vote for ABB in the general election. And I have not decided who I will vote for in the California primary.

We'd probably get lost, run out of gas, get pulled over three or four times and arrive there late, but we'd have a hell of a trip.

places that he would be very interesting to talk to. I'm sure he would have all kinds of funny stories about his intern days, and I would enjoy his thoughts on all the countries he has visited.

because I'm really interested in integrative health care. I'd like to have a long discussion with him on the merits of wellness care rather than illness care, and ask him about different healing techniques, like acupressure and entertropic therapy.

17. That's a loaded question...
If we drove all night, I'm afraid I'd have wreck from falling asleep at the wheel if it were Kerry.
John Edwards whiney voice would make me want to drive the car over a cliff.
Lieberman would make me want to harm myself if I didn't lose it and harm him first.
Clark might be an interesting ride, I've got this feeling that deep down he likes to party.
Dean might be fun too. We could stop and make pancakes for breakfast and play the guitar as we drove down the highway to pass the time. If we were sure there was no media hiding out in the car, we could yell at bad drivers and talk about how much we both hate bush*

18. If he agrees not to talk politics, then Dennis. Here's how it'd go...

Rediscovering America Roadtrip Journal, Day 7: Johnny Edwards continues to talk about wife, job, boring us to tears again. Dennis suggests we leave him behind at the next truck stop so we can score some weed and make the trip go faster. Saw Sharpton hitch-hiking out of Des Moines today, Dennis threw moon pie out the window to him, reports hitting the Rev in the nose with it...

Day 9: Our plan with Johnny and the truck stop backfired today. We saw him riding shotgun with some lady trucker hauling aluminum pipes while she passed us up. Dennis says he was waving "howdy" to us but I still think it looked like he was shooting the finger

Day 10: Major set back. Dennis busted for scoring the pot at an Arby's. Damn cashier was another Homeland Security agent--they're everywhere. Can't make bail right now. Will think tomorrow about headin' down to St Louis and hitting up Gephardt for the bread...

19. Kerry,Walter Shapiro of USA Today picks Kerry as candidate...
he'd most like to have a beer with. Shapiro traveled with the campaigns last summer and wrote this in his book about the time he spent with the candidates.

I'm with Shapiro. Kerry is intelligent, articulate, well-rounded--a complex person with an intriguing biography.

Lots of things to talk about, spontaneous stops just to look at the scenery or visit with somebody interesting or climb a mountain or who knows what. Funny, caring. He drinks beer with chocolate cake. And I can even say fuck if I want to. Doesn't get better than that!
