Goddamn, What Can WE Do?
What The hell is with this stupid "deal," that DINO Nelson says will be worked out by late Monday "at the earliest,"? Deal, my ass! If we let them vote on the sickening 7, and keep the fillibuster, we lose! Tell me, somebody, that this "deal" is nothing but bullshit, PLEASE!

1. The pukes and the chimpministration have shown
time and again that their word is worthless, so why anybody on this planet would enter into an agreement with about who's paying for lunch, much less Senate procedure, is totally beyond me.

2. Because it's really about the Supreme Court nominee....
But I agree, that is not acceptable. Any appeals would never get to the Supreme Court because these appeals judges would rule against it before it made it to the top. These are important nominations.

4. contact senators
I think one of the easiest/most useful things we can do is make sure we all contact our senators over this weekend; talk to your friends, ask them to contact their senators, email them the link to the senate contact page.

Drop 'em an email and let them know what you think.

If approx 2/3 of the country is against it and they hear from as many of those people as possible...give them something to think about on their flight back to Washington on Sunday night.

8. Call if you can!
On Monday I bought a prepaid phone card so I could call senators while I was at work. This really helps because you can call from anywhere. You can even let friends and coworkers use the card to make sure they call.

Many Senators offices have commented on the number of calls the are getting. Even Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) office commented on the # of calls asking him not to vote the filibuster out.

Keep fighting!!

5. No Compromise!!!

WE must filibuster these candidates for lifetime appointments to the bench. These candidates are so extreme, we must fight with everything we have.

IF the Repukes want to try to do away with the filibuster, then let them try. They can take the heat for it, too.

We will be back in power soon enough and can then bring the filibuster back. It's much harder to impeach judges!

If the filibuster is needed for anything, it is needed to fight when lifetime appointments are being made to the bench.

No Compromise!!!
