Republicans do not see the contradiction in their arguments..
...over the filibuster... Will George Bush be the only president to get all his judicial appointment thru? Why is that? The Repubs argue that the rule has always been there for an "up or down" vote for judges. IF that were the case, why did Clinton, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, and every other president in history not get all their nominations thru?? Because they are changing the rules...and they are lying about it. The Great Leader, for the first time in history, will get all his judges? Why?

10. I agree with you, but the Constitution should be amended
to that end.

Just the same as if the Republicans want to get rid of the judicial filibuster, they should formally change the rules.

5. People like Bob Dole have come out and warned the neocons
about going too far with this. What they love now may very well bite them in the ass big time down the road.

11. They believe they are at the beginning of The Thousand Year Reign....
of Conservatism, and that no Democrat will ever be elected President
again. Seriously. These guys have bought their own bull, and think the
only reason someone like Clinton got elected twice was because of
the "liberal media". Now that they've got the media under control, they
think the entire US population will reveal its true identity as
religious-based conservatives.

Its hard to say which is stronger in the Neocons: arrogance or stupidity.
