1. I
could go to sleep listening to this, but it's a very effective way to prove his point.

2. Brilliant!
Overwhelm them with facts and the truth!
:woohoo:

All the Republicans can do is parrot Rovian talking points and go off-topic and accuse Democrats of being un-American.

4. That is a great tactic
I wonder how Rush, Hannity, et al will frame this as a liberal lie?

7. Yeah, true. I guess my problem is
that I overlooked that tired line, because I recognize it as invalid.

But it works.

All those judges got their up or down. Its just these few that haven't.

I wonder why the Republicans didn't see fit to give so many of Clinton's nominees up or down.

This crap just really bugs me.

Republicans tell blatent lies and distortions, and they are given just as much credit and time as the truth.

3. Senator Schumer is winning big points with me lately.
Hey, you New York DUers. Better keep a close watch on this guy, 'cuz I'm strongly inclined to come swipe him from you and keep him as MY Senator.

Thank you, Senator Schumer, for putting persuasive arguments FOR democracy in the faces of the Rethug Senators trying to cram a list of far-right kook judges down our throats.

10. I think we'll keep Chuck and Hillary too!
And come '06 we're going to elect Eliot Spitzer and boot Pataki. Spitzer is one that may be President one day then we'll share him with the country. :-)

11. Hi, Nite Owl. Well, a word to the wise...
You folks better keep Senator Schumer under close guard.

My jealousy knows no borders.

:)

Yes -- do what you can to replace Pataki with Eliot Spitzer. I doubt you'll hear many complaints about that move from most DUers.

Keep up the good work over in the Empire State.

6. Niiiice!
I turned it off when the pubs came back on and now my son is home from Star Wars and watching some dumb movie so I will be depending on DU for my coverage.

That is a really good tactic.
