will never happen, what are the options other than waiting till 2006? In 2006, they will steal the election again!

3. Not only is it not gonna happen
Edited on Thu May-19-05 02:25 PM by babsbunny
according to our fellow DUers, they don't even want to hear the word impeachment anymore. So what is left? We'd better figure it out because the Repubs will steal the next election too!

10. We Still Want to Hear the Word IMPEACHMENT
Edited on Thu May-19-05 03:04 PM by AndyTiedye
because that's what ** deserves, followed by a trip to this place:

We don't have the power to make it happen, but if we make enough
noise, at least the foreign press will remind the rest of the world
that we do not approve of what is being done in our name.

IMPEACH BUSH

(btw, where can I get another of those really big IMPEACH BUSH
bumper stickers? Mine is getting a bit tattered).

2. While the likelihood is extremely low with a Republican dominated ...
legislature, if a smoking gun explodes, it COULD happen. In the presence of overwhelming evidence and drastically eroding popular support just watch party members skuttle away from their head of state.

5. Yes, I was thinking the same thing
Because the bushlicking Repulicans on the hill don't really love Bush-they love number uno. They love their power, their paycheck. And they would snip their connection to him if it benefited THEM.

Also-DU is way ahead of the curve. We were on this memo weeks before it had an utterance on the mainstream press. So we are probably years ahead of the big I word. But I still feel the only way to wrestle this country back is to bring Bush down before 2008. So anytime by December 31, 2007 and I won't have given up on it.

4. bingo
2000 was a coup. this is no longer a democratic republic.

they'll allow "opposition" candidates to win just often enough to give the appearance of legitimacy and only when they can control the consequences.

6. I agree
especially if they can get rid of the filibuster. They can leave just enough Dems in the Senate to make good scapegoats. "Its the Dems fault we can't get that legislation through!"
