Where the *bleep* is the Democratic leadership of this country?
What happened to the likes of the Barbara Jordans and the Sam Ervins?
Why are we NOT marching in the streets to protest the insanity of the Rove White House?
Whatever happens in the future is what we deserve.

1. I'd tell you, but it's tantamount to either one of two X-rated scenes...

3. This is God-Damned Ridiulous.
I can't for the life of me figure out why the leading Dems are walking around with their tails between their legs. It's humiliating.

2. I
think that we still have a lot of work to do but Sen. Reid, Howard Dean and the rest of our leadership is taking giant steps in the right direction. What do you think of Sen. Reid and his leadership?

4. It made me sick to watch Galloway saying what should have been
said by our Democratic leadership. I was relieved to finally hear those words coming out of someone's mouth - but it should be voiced again and again and again by the Democratic Party. What Rove did to Kerry with the 'flip-flopping' allegations should have been turned-around on Rove, et.al. asking why the Congress and the American people were fed lies to further the agenda of the Bush WH to invade Iraq. Only in America (sadly) can one person be crucified for serving his country in battle while the person who is doing the crucifying was a yellow-bellied groveler during the same aforementioned conflict.

Sorry for the rant - I just wish someone would step up to the plate and level the playing field with these rogue bastards.

9. me too
Man I would do anything to see the Democrats sound off on the GOP like Galloway but it doesn't look likely.

Sen. Reid isn't Galloway but he has a great style and personally I like his soft-spoken yet aggressive speaking style but I know exactly where your coming from with the Galloway reference and I wish the Democrats would be more like Galloway too but as I said above, its not looking likely, at least in the short term.

5. Pelosi, Reid, and Dean are doing great!
And look at those demonstrators in Houston protesting valiantly against corporate global greed and Haliburton.

The tide is definitely changing.

11. Why is it that just when we're seeing spine
somebody else seeing business as usual wimpiness.

This country has never conducted its business like the House of Commons, much as that would be entertaining.

10. Missed the Senate on C-Span 2 today, I guess.
There's quite a few threads about it, including 4 play by plays.

I'll let you find out what happened for yourself.

12. You need to inform yourself on the Senate
hearings today regarding the filibuster pros and cons. Dems did great! We're all skeptical, but today was a good day.

16. NO - I'm still angry at the wishy-washy way the Dems handled the
'04 debates and campaigning. We needed to have the truth in all its' horror shouted to the rooftops instead of the white-glove treatment displayed. I yearn for the days of the Barbara Jordan dissertations regarding the Constitution. It's unbelievable that the Dems stood by and watched Kerry being desecrated for serving his country in battle while that lily-livered SOB rested upon his laurels during the Viet Nam debacle. Not once were Bush or Cheney queried in regards to NOT having their children serving in Afghanistan or Iraq.

Turn on C-SPAN, you'll find exactly where your Democratic leadership of this country is - they are fighting their asses off for you, me and the rest of this nation!

You say whatever happens in the future is what we deserve? I say bullshit to that.

I have no idea who you are, but if you haven't already, you take to the streets to protest the insanity! So many of us already have!

Edit: spelling

18. As far as my "whatever happens in the future" quote - it's due in part to
my feelings of "for every action - there is an equal and opposite reaction" - Newton's 3rd law. It applies here - unfortunately - due to the actions by this country for decades in the Middle East and elsewhere. Any of us can be in harm's way when the disaster comes, but is the cost of being a human on this war-ravaged planet.

We reap what we sow.:nuke:
