They suggest that until there are facts, we probably ought to be skeptical (as many here have been).

The fact that not one of approximately 7500 supposed families with uncounted dead loved ones has not come forward to address this issue had me a little suspicious.

I'm glad, too, for the fact that 7500 additional soldiers are not dead.

6. One thing I had considered as a possiblity

is that the current count is of those killed in action, while the 7500 might have been that total combine with those who have died due to injuries. I figured that maybe the military wasn't counting the ones who die afterward from wounds with the total.

That's why I was undecided on the report.

9. I cannot help but suspect that

the number dead is understated as much as the envelope will allow. The *MIC LIES about EVERYTHING. Why should this be any different? It would require a bit of CYA, orphans, non-citizens, however with means and motive a method could certainly be found.

Where Ameicans are getting punked is in the number of injuries and their severity. Many survive who would surely have died in previous conflicts. Their numbers will surface as the economy shrinks and the pressures on their "safety nets" (currently being dismantled) increase.
