1. About the only thing I want to send to Sen Rick Santorum is...
...a flaming bag of Dog Crap.

I wouldn't waste my time with him, I think he's gunning to be Bill Frist's V.P. in 2008:mad:

I might even say, "I am a long-time republican" to get my letter read!

5. No problem.
I'm a fast typist but my keyboard sucks so I'm working with a handicap.

6. SWING STATE PROJECT: Check this out
From talkleft.com

I know that when I've tried to call, I've gotten a busy signal. Swing State Project ( http://www.swingstateproject.com )has a solution - for $15 you can send a telegram - go here http://www.swingstateproject.com/2005/05/send_a_telegram.php for the links. This is particularly helpful if one of your Senators is one of those on the fence."

Sounds like a great deal to me!!

7. Called Specter's office.
Told them, as a Republican resident of Pennsylvania, I appreciated Senator Specter's remarks this morning in the Senate about reaching a compromise. But, if the nuclear option is used as a bullying tactic, I will be most unhappy with my party. It is simply not worth it over a handful of judges to pander to the religious right extremists.
