BushCO are like the locust aliens in "Independence Day"....
This hit me today as I read in my paper that Bush plans to VETO the highway bill. What do they have against infrastructure?

then it hit me: They are like those aliens in "independence Day", they aren't interested in taking over, they aren't interested in wresting power for its own sake, they want to rape and pillage america's infrastructure, its economy, its young men and women by sacrificing them to an illegal war, destroy 2 hundred years of democracy and law...

and leave an empty husk in their wake.

They are accomplishing the most outrageous "burnt earth" swath through this country. When they are done, even if we ultimately defeat them, we will be incapable of rebuilding the damage without completely bankrupting ourselves.

Why are they doing this? Do they know something we don't, about the longevity of this country? Are they gutting it because it will soon die? Or are they hastening the death, like the man who finally killed the golden goose because he could no longer wait for the golden egg?

Where are they going after they destroy america? Is BushCo planning to set up a major fiefdom in the Middle East?

What, exactly, are their ultimate intentions? It obviously is NOT the best interests of america.

1. I don't know. I don't want to know.
I fear that we are about to find out.

2. I was thinking exactly that yesterday,
Something Galloway said that had me thinking that I'd heard something along those lines before. I realized it was the line that the Pres. says "They're like locusts. They're moving from planet to planet... their whole civilization. After they've consumed every natural resource they move on... and we're next."

3. He even once quoted the locust aliens from ID4:
"I believe man and fish can co-exist peacefully."

Didn't the president in Independence Day ask one of the aliens if there was any way we could co-exist peacefully? :)

At least the aliens in ID4 were sentient beings.
