Today I witnessed something remarkable. Behavior not often exibited in Washington, DC. I saw an eloquent and courageous human being face his adversaries with blunt honesty and passion. I sincerely appreciate your testimony and regret I was unable to see it in its entirety due to the vagaries of American media prioritization. Please know there are countless Americans extremely grateful for your appearance today. Thank you.

This is a man who has faced death threats because of his opposition to Iraqi sanctions and the invasion.

I have gathered the gist of what you said in the US Senate this morning, although I was not able to watch the broadcast at my work. Please continue to speak the truth about this duplicitous administration and their horrible war. You may have surmised by now that the corporate control of the media in this country ensures that anyone questioning the reigning powers will be marginalized and characterized as "lunatic fringe."

Sir, I am a disabled US Army veteran who loves my country very much and is heartbroken about what has happened over the past 4 years. Please take this encouragement from me to continue to speak the truth in such a way that the story will be carried to the American people. As an ally of our country, you can do no higher service for us.

initially. I saw him begin a question when CNN cut away to the silly little diverted flight story so I have no idea what he may have asked.
