AN ACT relating to in vitro fertilization.
Create a new section of KRS 311.710 to 311.820 to define "in vitro fertilization"; prohibit anyone from fertilizing more than one egg during the in vitro fertilization process; create a penalty of a Class D felony for violations of this section.

They think that it's okay to create multiple embryos (and discard the extras) to save some money, yet tell a woman who became pregnant against her will that she shouldn't abort.

If they are truly so horrified by abortion and methods of contraception that they claim are abortofacients, then they should be equally horrified by the number of fertilized embryos just sitting languishing in a freezer somewhere, never to be used again. However, if you didn't fertilize multiple eggs, the in vitro method would not be nearly as effective and a lot of fundies probably had to go that route to have babies. Let's let them slug it out amongst themselves.

Most countries do not allow freak fertility litters of 4, 5, 6 or more as this country does; limiting the number of fertilized eggs that are implanted makes sense (those freak litters are expensive; the parents do not pay the multi-million dollar tab those birth and subsequent NICU stays run up - we all do).
