…and thousands of other Democrats who stepped up and signed the petition to stop the abuse of power in the Senate.

Just moments ago Sen. Ted Kennedy finished a conference call briefing for Democrats who took action and showed their passion on this issue. All told, over 450,000 of us banded together and put pressure on wavering Republican Senators and the fringe GOP leadership to step back from the brink. Sen. Kennedy took time this afternoon to give us a briefing on the very latest about each of the nominees and the state of the crisis in the Senate.

Governor Dean introduced Sen. Kennedy on the call, and stressed how much is at asked everyone to do what they can to spread the word in our local communities.
