Bush doesn't read the papers

instead of reading the papers for himself, bush has other people read them and give him a digest of what they think is important. this imposes someone else's viewpoint on the news, before he gets it. thus, what he sees is one step removed from what was written, and is biased by the reader, who adds his own twist to it. one step removed from reality, is bush.

I was thinking at least a mile or a hundred miles removed from reality. Remember, this is the fellow who never had to do an honest day's work in his life, was given a pass to get into Yale and Harvard, shirked his military commitment, and couldn't even do right in business without bailouts. And the freepers think he's a regular guy.
