If REPUBS are now spewing "peak oil" there's got to be a reason.

The last time anyone gave a damn about oil was Carter and his mention of conservation helped to get him voted out of office. That's 1980. Since then and up until now, the public has been brainwashed to think oil is not a problem.

Why now. To make themselves look good?
