Democrats in Washington need to get downright brazen and trade in comity for some blood-dripping talk. Maybe take a cue from Howard Dean and let `er rip. This isn`t choir rehersal, it`s war. Someone has to start calling a spade a spade and forget this "friends across the aisle" stuff. We don`t have any friends across the aisle. They`re all too busy kneeling before their ermine-cloaked king to spend time working out reasonable solutions with us.

Republicans simply nod in the affirmative, no matter what: torture, unarmored war vehicles,jobs going to India, Wal-Mart, strip-mining, clear-cutting, nuclear waste in somebody else`s backyard, Christian Nation, Star Wars, arsenic in water. You name it. If it`s good for corporations or those with inherited wealth, it`s A-OK. They want to destroy unions, the United Nations,a woman`s right to choose, any and all social programs, Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, Iran. They seem to have equal hatred for condoms and free speech, stem cell research and the Freedom of Information Act, diplomacy and verifiable voting. No amount of good-natured chatter is going to bring these folks back to the practice of checks and balances. Even if one of them escapes from the confines of Rove`s electric fence, in the end they`ll bow and obey, flag-pinned and holy.

If it was up to me, our party`s edict would read: NO MORE MR. NICE GUY. We`re not talking about a disagreement over a couple million here, a couple million there. We`re talking about a herd of wild elephants running roughshod over our democracy. While these Republicans shine under their well-lit banner of patriotism, a torture plane is in the air. More legs are being blown off our soldiers. The national debt is skyrocketing and the stack of have-nots is growing larger and larger.

We`d better start speaking up. Right out on Main Street. In parking lots. On trains. While we`re bike riding. Or car pooling. Never mind tip-toeing around "the L word", say it....THEY`RE LYING. Never mind those yellow ribbon magnets, put a sign on your vehicle...THEY`RE KILLING OUR KIDS. These people need to be stopped before there`s no America left.

come to that, and at some point at least, I'm in favor of it.

There are some things we should try before that though and I think they involve opening a "second front" on the Repubs and making them fight on our terms first. Maybe even open up a second front with a battle on National Health Care..(take it to the people first so they cant' stonewall it)and then follow it up with impeachment resolutions or calls for investigations etc.... bring a lot of heat in a very short time. If the repubs resort to more draconian measures, then the strike option is still available.

Has any thought been given on how to organize a general strike?

The way to organize a general strike is to have the United Unions go on strike. Then have the truckers go on 'rolling Roadblocks' in sympathy. Then have the IBEW shut down construction. Have the service unions go out in sympathy. Have the
White Collar workers call in sick in sympathy. Have everybody boycott WalMart, Exxon all the read companies. Let the Snowball roll and grow from there. Remember the 'officials' get their power from US. We are and have the power. We murst have to take it back from the sheepl.

5. It is of my opinion that we are on the 'side of good'....

All we want is to play by the rules, have a decent job, raise our children and educate them, have clean air and water, eat safe food, be diplomatic to world, and be safe and happy.

I have been thinking of a word that describes this administration and the followers of this evil party and that word is 'barbaric'.

There is truly a divide in this country if not the world. Good decent people (of which I would like to be included) and the fucking evil people who want to kill and destroy almost everything in their path.

I hate these people - the people who are destroying the USA.

These are Conservative Christian Terrorists who actively seek violent means to their ends or provide funding for the same. Whether they're blowing up the Atlanta Olympics, the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City or abortion clinics, they are Conservative Christian Terrorists.

The Conservative Christian Terrorists are attacking our institutions, our schools and our Constitution.

They want to dumb down our children, in addition to having sex with them, they want them to be as stupid as possible so they have to attack our science, they have to attack our medicine. In short, they have to attack everything we know so the know-nothings in their ranks can feel smart.

I even saw a Sidney Blumenthal piece today that mentions "mendacity" in reference to bush. Yes, the tiptoeing continues. Why can't we just come out and say it. It's LIES. LYING. By LIARS. bush LIED. Just plain and simple.

They wouldn't hesitate for an instant to scream "liar!" if it applied to Clinton.

And YES - I DO like "Conservative Christian Terrorists." They are perpetrators of DOMESTIC TERRORISM. And they should be called on it. Because that's EXACTLY what they're doing.
