I wish Brian Schweitzer Won in 2000

Current Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer nearly defeated Sen. Conrad Burns in 2000. Had he done so he would certainly be in the running for the presidential nomination in '08.

And given how Schweitzer is, he'd be a damn good presidential candidate.

I suppose that if (God forbid) we lose in '08, he'd be excellent for '12.

3. Returning to Montana next year

I will support Brian Schweitzer for an '08 run. He is a fresh face, a can do Democrat in Red Territory and a real kick ass guy.

Anyone who takes their border collie to work with them is a real hero in my book.
