2. I know....I know...
I so agree with you.

This presidency is dragging on forever.

I can't believe that it's been less than four months since Junior was inaugurated.

This entire presidency has felt like an emotional root canal --excruciating, painful--and every minute feels like an eternity.

I wish there was some way to speed up time.

3. my perception of time could be tainted
by the fact that the incompetent, evil piece of SHIT was my governor for six years before they installed him into the White House. But......STILL - lord, it feels like a LOOOOOOOOONG time

11. Skittles...I feel for you...
I want to jump into my computer and give you a big virtual hug.

I can't imagine having to look at that disgusting smirk for all of those years as governor--and then to deal with him as pResident.

That's just too much.

There should be support groups for that kind of prolonged trauma!

4. Only because of the terrorist attacks, record deficits, skyrocketing gas
prices, climbing unemployment rate, stock market crashing, and a couple of unending wars that president nosepicker started.

other than that.. it's been rosey! :P

6. Who knows
They sure seem happy to lay that the 90s was such a horrible decade for money... yet sao many people got rich... oh well, this generation's roaring 20s... rather a sad testament to how bad it was.

8. Absolutely
You know what they say, though, time flies when you're having fun and we were having fun when Bill was in the WH. It sure drags when you're not having a good time, though. And we definitely ARE NOT having a good time.

10. I think in 2008
they are going to start saying, "Wow I can't believe GW did all that in his first term" and then they will run him and pretend it was only his first term and now he's running for a second. Hey, it wouldn't be the first time they re-wrote history!

14. Yes, there is the war, lack of health insurance, ruined pension plans,
outsourcing of jobs, the takeover of our democracy by the theocratic right wing, record deficits, skyrocketing gas prices, the dollar is in the toilet...

And Nero fiddles (or rides his bike) while Rome burns.

It's one long-ass ride, and it sure doesn't feel like it's getting any shorter.

15. Cable news made so much of "Clinton Fatigue;" why not "Bush Fatigue"?
Remember when cable news was pushing "Clinton Fatigue" non stop even though polling data barely suggested such a thing?

Now all the polling data suggests that lots of folks are tired of Bush. Yet not one word of "Bush Fatigue" anywhere. . . .

16. Feels like an eternity, a freakin' eternity.
Every morning I look at the headlines; more dead, nature assaulted, stock market down, deficits up. It just goes on and on. I have to take periodic news break just to maintain my sanity.

18. GOOD GRIEF, YES. - OH, LORDY YES. - DAMMIT YES.
DAMN DAMN DAMN. Will the nightmare ever end? Each day seems like a month. Who could have ever imagined that so much damage could be done in such a short time? Gotta hand it to them, they organized, got ready, lied through their teeth and laid in the tall grass ready to strike when they got the chance. They are not wasting a moment after waiting 70 years to undo every good social program the Democrats have passed for the people. This is a full frontal assault on Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment insurance, the environment and thousands of other things that "harm" the rich and the corporations.
