There is a new poopy Kerry meme on the loose today. (Rant warning)
Edited on Fri Jan-23-04 10:20 PM by Bleachers7
I am so sick of this fucking media. I have seen Kerry described as "aloof" in the print media today. I am also now hearing it on CNN from Crabby Crowley. The thought this god damn state media is considered journalism makes me crazy. This is fucking crazy. This isn't journalism. I mean this is elections Iraq style. Everyone is told what to think. Don't dare to say something nice about anyone but the dictator.

:argh:

Re: Kerry and "aloof", I've seen him called that here on DU all day today and quite often over the past several days. I even started a post about it because it was bugging the crap out of me.

I agree with your frustration with the media. Unfortunately, this is only the beginning. Wait until we actually have a nominee. :scared:

Everybody needs to watch it. I'm telling you. I'm asking you. I'm calling in favors and quid-pro-quos and whatever else. Watch it. Then LAUGH at aloof. And jump up and down and say holy fuck, he is going to kick the shit out of ALL of them!!!!

4. Sounds like Candy got out her thesaurus
cuz the media was tiring of "partrician" and "cold."

P.S. I keep reading in other threads that "Kerry is the media darling, which proves Rove wants him." Gee, maybe that isnt so.

5. It is ludicrous. The John Kerry I saw today
in the town meeting was anything but aloof. He was down to earth, genuine, showed real concern and answered questions fully and thoughtfully. You could see real connection with those in the room. WE decide whom we elect. "The Media" can pee up a rope for all I care.

Woof

7. Between the clothing concerns and the temperment issues
I wonde rhow or candidates make it to the bathroom in the morning without the help of the press corps. But at least they tell us every half hour where they stand: a ew poll indicates Kerry is up and down and back and forth. Dean, in contrast, has his left hand in and his right foot out. Clark is parting his hair on a different side, which has made him more amenable to women voters, but his support in the military has waned because they have determined that it makes him seem too Finnish. Details at 11.

8. Trying to Revive The Old Spin

After Kerry had prostate surgery, he made a great comment about having his "aloofness" removed, or something like that.

10. There seems to be
very litle talk about the candidates' positions with the press. Just different ways to attack or belittle them. At the same time, they make the pres out to be so presidential and talk about how much he has matured in his job.:puke:
