How to beat Bush without Kerry
As I look forward to working the polls for Howard and canvassing this weekend I can't help but think that a nice little stop Kerry campaign could be built around the Iowa example.

Dean, Clark and Edwards get together, announce a full ticket of Dean/Clark/Edwards or Clark/Dean/Edwards with Dennis at Treasury and Edwards as Attorney General.

It worked in Iowa and just imagine the ticket against Shrub.

1. Why not just run Kerry?
Unless there is some reason to please Karl Rove I can't see why anyone would be pushing Dean now.

2. just imagine the ticket against Shrub
I'd work like a son of a gun to get that one elected but I don't think it'd have a chance, too many holes in the resume/experience.

The idea of announcing your Cabinet plans before the GE might be a good one, especially if exciting names can be brought into the fold.

6. I think it's against the rules
Bush couldn't say publically that he's nominate Powell even though it was widely assumed. I'm sure it could be said that Clark or Edwards would be a good yada yada yada but I don't think that the nominee can actually make a definitive statement on cabinet positions.

3. Y'know, someone proposed a stop Dean campaign here awhile back...
and he was rightfully vilified as a bitter little pissy baby.
Thought you may want to know...

7. Rightly Vilified
Kerry has been rightly vilified as a double-talking politician. He says one thing, then does another, giving him two separate histories. When each event admits of two interpretations, Kerry's track record is customizable for presentation before any group at all.

However, there's a downside. Some constituencies aren't taken in. The guy voted for the war, and now he denies it. Yeah, I voted for the war, he says, but I didn't mean it. That's horse shit.

10. Maybe it is just a dream, but...
that would be a heck of a ticket.

And, after today, I struggle to see Kerry as anything but a liability come GE time.

I wish I were wrong. But I really don't think I am.

13. the way things are here lately
I'd ask this question;
How to beat Bush without Kerry, Dean, Clark, Edwards, Kucinich, Lieberman, and Sharpton.
Good grief; Karl Rove has nothing on us here! We have gone from trashing Dean, to trashing Clark, then Kerry. Next up it'll be Edwards and so on until there is nobody left.

They'll all be 'unelectable' for various reasons.
Well, there's a bit of news for all of us; the perfect democratic challenger for Bush does not exist in the eyes of DUers. Even if Jesus had a second coming and was nominated we'd find something that would make him 'lose in a landslide' against the oh-so-powerful Rove machine.
