Frist: Democrats block deportation of murderers, rapists, child molesters
PLEASE NOTE: This is a TRANSCRIPT of EXCERPTS from a Fox video on their Web Site (I transcribed it), so there is no text URL. You can watch the video yourself, at http://www.foxnews.com, but you'll have to use Internet Explorer. Go to the video sidebar on the right and look for "POLITICS FEATURED: Pressing the Democrats."

"All judicial nominees deserve an up-or-down vote. It's a matter of fairness, of fairness to the nominee, I think it's fairness to the American people..." (Alberto Gonzales)

"Judges disagree from time to time on particular issues. That doesn't in any way detract from my view that she would make a teriffic judge on the fifth circuit. I've never accused her of being an activist judge..." (Alberto Gonzales, on his past conflicts with nominee Priscilla Owen)

"Fundamentally, what we have is a partisan minority blocking a partisan majority from being able to act on the Senate floor" (John Cornyn, R-TX)

"These vacancies are complicating their ability to prosecute criminals. The department also reports that due to the delay in deciding immigration appeals, it cannot quickly deport illegal aliens who are convicted murderers, rapists and child molesters" (Bill "Cat Killer" Frist, R-TN)

2. If they're convicted, why aren't they in jail? And if we wanted to deport
them, why would you need a judge to spend more than 5 seconds signing anything?

And as for the minority block them, too bad they've been doing that for decades themselves. Frist should just shut up and take his lumps like a man. Oh I forgot, republicans in power aren't real men. They gods
