Why is Bolton getting approved?
Has it turned into a party line vote again? If Bolton gets approved then our clout at the UN will be all but gone. He'll be a rating and raving lunatic, threatening any country that doesn't follow our ideas. He isn't a realist he a freaking nutcase. Can't the democrats filibuster Bolton? I can't believe we are going to let a guy who thinks "there is no such thing as the United Nations" be ambassador to the UN. He is going to look like the boy who cried wolf and is probably going to lose even more allies. We are sinking deep into debt and if countries like China decide to drop us, we would be destroyed economically. Even then though I don't think the people would understand.

1. Just because Luger says it doesn't make it so.
The hearing continues Thursday and I'm trying to be optimistic.

5. Two reasons:
A) We can't stop him.
B) It doesn't make sense to filibuster, because some other Bushbot without a prior record will just fill the role and do the same exact thing instead. Unlike judicial nominees, it's thankfully mostly temporary damage the nominee can do. Unlike cabinet nominees, however, this deals with our foreign relations, and the damage is much harder to undo.
