When is enough enough?

Our results don't take forever either.

What you really need is a non-partisan federal body in charge of elections. Our chief electoral officer isn't even allowed to vote. It amazes me that you don't have uniform rules/standards for elections across the country. It's so wrong.

9. Now come on! You have to admit that trust has been lost and

transparency in elections needs to be re-established. Bush could do it.. but that would solve a problem that they like to exist as a problem.

7. Paper ballots alone are not the answer

Florida used paper ballots in 2000 . . .

We need real and comprehensive election reform.

8. We do it in Canada and it works fine. We don't add anything else in

to the federal election. No other votes. Takes about 20 minutes after the polls close to count each ballot box by hand. With representative of at least 2 parties looking over the sholder. And with each voter folding and putting the vote in the box themselves.. it works great.

Everyone trusts the ballot boxes.
