Wackiest quote ever?
http://www.dembloggers.com/story/2005/5/5/212240/7757
Pastor Chan Chandler gave them the ultimatum, saying if they didn't support George Bush, they should resign or repent. The minister declined an interview with News 13. But he did say "the actions were not politically motivated."

Somebody needs mental help don't ya think?

6. Great stuff, but you have to be old. . .
Saw it at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Springs, MD. Great to see so many bald heads reliving their youth (I'm 53). The movie was delayed in starting, and we were cracking up talking throughout the theater (anyone got a doob?). Saw maybe one GenXer and one Millenial (God knows what he thought of the whole thing). Rock on!

8. I used to be able to party like that
Wish I still could sometimes, but don't think I could keep up with those on the train, even then.

3. But the most convoluted quote ever

"I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant," belonged to Robert J. McCloskey, Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Public Affairs under RMNixon...

7. Are you sure?
"Because the—all which is on the table begins to address the big cost drivers. For example, how benefits are calculate, for example, is on the table; whether or not benefits rise based upon wage increases or price increases. There's a series of parts of the formula that are being considered. And when you couple that, those different cost drivers, affecting those—changing those with personal accounts, the idea is to get what has been promised more likely to be—or closer delivered to what has been promised. Does that make any sense to you? It's kind of muddled. Look, there's a series of things that cause the—like, for example, benefits are calculated based upon the increase of wages, as opposed to the increase of prices. Some have suggested that we calculate—the benefits will rise based upon inflation, as opposed to wage increases. There is a reform that would help solve the red if that were put into effect. In other words, how fast benefits grow, how fast the promised benefits grow, if those—if that growth is affected, it will help on the red."—Explaining his plan to save Social Security, Tampa, Fla., Feb. 4, 2005

10. Rumsfeld - I love this one.
From 2002 (I believe):
"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."

11. That quote actually
makes a lot of sense. Don't see why you think it's "wacky".
