I asked the action group to email me their link so that I could post it on the DU site , since I knew the MSM would not even mention it.
I gave them the DU link to let them know that we are interested in their efforts...
Text in short reads as follows...

Depite bad weather, 8000 attended anti-Bush protests in Amsterdam. The gathering started near the American Embassy and worked it's way through city center. Many joined in along the way shouting ‘Bush, Bush, terrorist!’ Among the speakers were Salam Ismael, surgeon from Iraq who visited Fallujah shortly aftert the American occupation and Azmatt Begg from the UK, father of an ex-Guantanamo Bay prisoner

We are glad that you noticed our small protest here in the Netherlands. Your site is amazing (esepcially the story about people being barred from their church for voting Democrats). We can imagine how frustrated you must be - in fact, we are too, since our government is heading the same way. Sign of the times, followers of the US, or simply a coincidence...
I will certainly send you some photos as soon as I've got them.
We are only a small peace activist group, but we joined up with about nine other organizations, political and nonpolitical, to organize this demonstration. There is another, larger, demo in Amsterdam, but we feel that we should stage one near Bush. He is extremely well shielded, of course, and just being near him means that certain citizen's rights are revoked. For one thing, we were unable to stage our rally where we wanted to, i.e. in the centre of Maastricht. The alternative is not bad, however, and we will have a march to the other side of the centre at the end. The two hours' demo will be filled with speeches and music. A provincial politician, who refused to attend the ceremony at the American cemetery, will explain why he did so. The chairman of the America Watchers Belgium will also present a talk. And there is a singer called Harry Loco (pun intended?), a song of whom you can hear at:
