O'Really leads with condemnation of Clark
Edited on Fri Jan-23-04 08:08 PM by tishaLA
he says that Clark, Moore, and "Stuart Smalley" do a disservice by feeding into the beliefs of those who hate American. Says Clark committed "political suicide" and he should be ashamed of himself.

What a tool. Like O'Really would know patriotism if it smacked him across his blotchy face.

Edit to remove bad word

6. O'Really is a pig f@*^&$-ing swine
He isn't worthy of licking Clark's boots.

Hopefully, no one will defend him as a "personality" with a "right to his opinon" like they are doing right now on the Fineman Dean-smearing thread.

And there's actually Kerry supporters here loving it and posting they deserve it.

Fox wants to clear the decks and then peel back John Kerry's candidacy like a bad onion.

15. OReilly would

OReilly would quake and tremble in the presence of a man like Wesley Clark. Clark is smarter, more accomplished, and certainly stronger.

OReilly would wither with envy and Clark would bat him around like a Cat who merely wishes to teach the mouse a lesson.

24. The problem is nobody dares go on O'Reilly
Clark included.

With good reason. O'Reilly knows how to be an SOB and will not let you talk, and he'll make a scene for you right on national tv.

O'Reilly has perfected his skill and is only encouraged to go for red meat stuff that gets ratings.

Who wants that? Especially when you have to worry about getting a message out so you can get elected.

11. And then Donna Brazille
is on there witha tepid defense of Clark..."oh I don't know Bill. He might be able to come back."

"No. I'm telling you--his campaign is over" (Guess Bill has something to say about that).

I can't believe this. It is now obvious to me: the rest of the world knows all about *'s record because they haven't investigated it. We are wrong because we have looked at the facts.

The worst part is that O'Really has been more vicious in his attacks on Clark because f Moore and franken going after him--it's like Clark is his proxy murder. It's disgusting.

12. He also said....
Hillary would lose her bid for the Senate (wrong)

All dissenters are unAmerican (many of the right wingers he loves were dissenters)

Says he is against the death penalty (has called for the death penalty several times on his show)

Says he is pro-environment (never done a show about the environment)

Says he is an independant (Kisses Bush's ass, attacks repukes from the right only, bashes liberals daily)

Said that he would apologize to the nation if WMD were not found in Iraq (has never done so)

Basically, the man is a habitual liar. Franken busted his lying, hypocritical ass in his book. Lies are nothing to the likes of O'Reilly. Money is the only thing that matters in his world and we will lie, cheat, and deceive anyone to get more of it.

Take that to the bank O'Really.

This is the same guy who called his fellow right winger DRUDGE un-American for disputing his book sales.

For O'Really, anyone who doesn't take his word as gospel is a traitor, and he seems to really believe that.

Scary isn't it?

16. Donna/O"Reilly
I just watched their exchange - and he is following the protocol from last night.

Calling Dean gone, Clark now "dead" because of his mistep last night - and making it out to be a Kerry/Edwards race.

They are making this Clark statement into a big issue. Maybe Peter Jennings attempt to bring Bushes AWOL practices into the lime-light have back fired?

O'Reilly and Faux Co certainly have their sights on Clark.

O'Reilly has to be on something like "Maybe pain killers." I really think he has a huge inferiority complex, as he well should. He is inferior to all of those he's condemning.

If I were Clark I would put a friggin ad on the air with O'Rielly's quotes. Cause you know that if O'Reilly is shooting at you then the President is worried. I would put out the quote from the Washington Times that the RNC is coordinating the attack's on Clark.

29. Did Oh'Really serve? NO!
http://www.buzzflash.com/contributors/2002/01/010702_Vietnam_and_OReilly.html

Despite the suffering and snubs that have been inflicted on him, O'Reilly never ceases to remind the audience of his nobility and that he is true to who he is: "I'm working-class Irish American Bill O'Reilly." Of course, O'Reilly's definition of working class is as bizarre as that of President George Bush who never worked a day in his life while his spins reek of the same fantasies as those of his brother Foxie, "General" Geraldo Rivera, the savior of Afghanistan. But left out of the O'Reilly past is any evidence of "Just Plain Bill" working at a menial or blue collar job or time served in the American military.

The Vietnam War simply never happened.

So let's get to the point. The striking fact of O'Reilly's past is that the Vietnam War simply never happened. In "Bill O'Reilly's Nothing But Spin Zone," the great eraser works tirelessly and he comes from a world where there is no Vietnam and no draft which is rather strange for someone who grew up in the era. Vietnam, the overwhelming event of O'Reilly's high school and college years is never mentioned in his books nor on his television show. Even in his attacks on Clinton there no mention of "Slick Willie Clinton the Draft Dodger." And the why of it is pretty simple. Bill O'Reilly at least matched Bill Clinton's Vietnam War record.

30. This is too funny! "Fair Warning to the Democrats"
Fair Warning to the Democrats

This is my second attempt in this space to convince the Democratic Party that it is committing political suicide by aligning itself with the far left. Now listen up. This country needs two strong political parties and should have more. If the Democrats self-destruct, the Bush people will run wild. They are already taken with themselves and largely unavailable to the folks. With no competition, Dick Cheney might never be seen again.

<snip>

So I am sending a final warning to the Democratic Party, which my family belonged to for more than 100 years. Wise up before it's too late. People judge you by those with whom you associate. To paraphrase a protest song from the '60s: "you don't believe you're on the eve of destruction?"

<snip>

http://www.pressanddakotan.com/stories/012004/opE_20040120034.shtml

Sounds like a DLC, moderate Dem to me... I thought this was the crowd Clark was supposed to reeeeeeel back in... Democrats... not Leftists... not Progrssives... not Liberal... not anti-war. What happened
