I think they hate him because he was a wakeup call to the religious right when he got elected and that wakeup call was "Not everyone is a fundamentalist evangelical Pat Robertson watching Jerry Fallwell living conservative". And that was just to painful to see. They hate him also because he accepted blacks, hispanics, jews, and put the first openly gay judges on federal courts. He also wasn't anti-choice which pisses them off the most.

he's the real thing, politically speaking

and because Bill Clinton actually likes women: fat women, skinny women, old or young, short or tall, horny or prudish, brainy or trashy, he actually likes women and they like him...which goes totally against the grain of religious men who think women have to be controlled.

I think that is definietly true. To some people Lewinsky and Hillary aren't the most beautiful women (not like a Paris Hilton type) but he obviously liked them. Wasn't Lewinsky a lil heavy for a lil while there (not bad or anything just a lil over average)? He's always respectful too. Whenever I see him at any event watching what's going on he's always paying attention even if he talks to someone the main person still has his attention. People in other countries like him too and he's the only president the UN ever stud up and applauded.
