Wow! Amazing! My Red State Dem Connections ABUZZ with that C-span
Edited on Sun May-01-05 06:12 PM by KoKo01
thingy with that Professor of Divinity who has written a book questioning how we got into the Iraq War after 9/11.

It's AMAZING...the e-mails I'm getting from my Red Staters involved in State Government who saw a broadcast about "how we got into the Iraq Invasion" from this Professor Emeritus who has two books out now.

Hubby and I just found his latest book at "Borders Books" here in my Fundie Red State down in the South. We were just amazed that they had "one of two copies" for sale.

And it was a "minor buzz" at our Democratic Fund Raiser here last night at which "outspoken US Housemember Charlie Rangel lit a fire under us Red State Dems..with his wonderful oratory...

I came home after the "Fundraiser" last night and I had five e-mails about that "C-Span" report by Professor Griffin. It was good to see.

You will need to "Google" it. But, here's a link:

2. Books are good...I hope this one gets in our local Public Libraries.
and maybe even Laura Bush (that former Librarian) will sign on to "All Info" being available out there for the "public to see."

That's my hope..anyway..

3. Good to hear some of the fundies watched David Ray Griffin
He's a wonderful speaker & comes across as being VERY convincing and completely believable when he talks.

What are the e-mailers saying??

I taped his whole talk and plan to share it far and wide!

4. It's interesting....they've never heard this before...so they are curious.
and they are asking me for links. I'm a "dial up" so many of the "free links" DU'ers have posted take too long for me to download. SO...I''ve told the "impatient" to buy the book or told them if they have a "fast connection" to link to some sites I've provided. OR...they can order the DVD from C-Span if they have the money to do so.

It's out there. And, I guess folks can get the info from "multiple means."

5. a new wave of curiosity is a good thing
"Is there a smoking gun that shows the Bush administration knew 9/11 was likely to happen and did nothing about it?"

- "One is the fact that standard operating procedures for dealing with possibly hijacked airplanes were not followed on 9/11."

- "I’m afraid the press has not done its job."

- "The second strongest piece of evidence I would say is the crash at the Pentagon."

8. Some have asked for downloads because C-Span DVD is pricey...
I've not found a good "dial up" site, but for those of you with "high speed:"

9. I have read The New Pearl Harbor book, interested in reading this one.
He comes across very credible, very easy and interesting read. Missed the program. I hope CSpan replays it.
