Randi Rhodes: Bill Clinton's "bad" idea is NOT George Bush's "good" idea
...for the folks who aren't listening to her show right now.

Saying that Clinton brought up the idea of Social Security privatization when we HAD a surplus that might have supported it, but it was a BAD IDEA to begin with.

Bill Clinton isn't God. Bill Clinton had good ideas, and he had bad ideas. Social Security privatization was one of the bad ones. But now that the same idea is coming out of the mouth of George Bush, the freepers LOVE it, and it is a GOOD idea.

Randi: "What do you tell people about a president who can't put a sentence together with a flashlight in the dark?"

1. His idea WASN'T To privatize social security though
His idea was to invest some of the surplus to gain revenue for the trust fund.

2. Randi may be mixing some apples and oranges, but...
...the one thing she did say is that there IS no "surplus" anymore.

I mean, we obviously don;t need Randi to tell us this...

but I do agree with the fact that so many people are signing up for this SIMPLY BECAUSE it's coming from the mouth of Lord Bunnypants.

3. Just like "911 Changed everything"
Massive Budget Deficits "Change Everything" too - except the GOP mantra of tax cuts regardless of the consequences.
