Bush: Judicial filibusters not attack on ‘faith’
He rejects theory of conservative Christians

What will the jihad shock troops of the Religious Reich do now that their divinely appointed leader has rejected their battle cry that filibusters are an attack on faith?

Bush does this stuff on purpose. His actions are a deliberate attempt to confuse, demoralize, and debilitate the activist impulse of the masses. It does not matter if they are progressives or his own Christian supporters. He does not want anyone to have any power; he does not want to be accountable to the will of the people.

Lately his Christian supporters have been calling in the favors that are owed them. Expect more covert attacks on their morale until they are completely demoralized and rendered ineffectual. Of course there will be bones thrown to them too, to keep them confused and disoriented.

Bush's MO is very clear, and once understood, his actions no longer seem inconsistent and contradictory.
