Salazar just made a great speech on Senate floor against budget bill!

Tune into C-Span now. Senator Conrad is on now; he has all the numbers, and he is taking it to Dubya on our rising mountain of debt that we will be passing along to our children.

Salazar said "in every case, Mr. President, the needy lose and the most powreful win" and that he cannot support this budget bill.

1. People like Salazar and Conrad are going to carry the west for us.

They may be socially conservative, but, let's face it, so are their constituents. However, they speak well to the economic issues and that's what will win in places like Colorado and North Dakota.
