H. Res 240 - reinstates prior House ethics rules - DELAY IS TOAST!
Edited on Wed Apr-27-05 03:54 PM by paineinthearse
Hastert has caved and is withdrawing the January house ethics rules

DeLay is toast!

This is so hot, a hand-marked pdf is all the house rules committee has posted!!!!

See prior "live" commentary" http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1748217 - started when CSPAN covered Hastert emerging from a rethug caucus, and later a portion of the subsequent House Rules Committee meeting.

Can someone convert pdf to text and post here?????
http://www.house.gov/rules/109hres240text.pdf

In part, it reads:

Text of H. Res. __ - Providing for the adoption of the resolution (H. Res. 240) amending the rules of the House of Representatives to reinstate certain provisions of the rules relating to procedures of the Committee on Standards and Official Conduct to the form in which those provisions existed at the close of the 108th Congress.....

4. Really? Did everybody in the house funnel corporate money into Texas
state races? Did everybody in the house use foreign money in federal elections?
Please prove it.

Bush is backing him, so this is going to drag on. I have no problem with that.
